Yep, I’m pretty much sure the fun is over for this year. I did get out yesterday for what will most likely be my last sailing trip for the season. It was a good day though – temps in the 60’s and winds from the SW a steady 18 mph, gusting to the high 20’s. I had to leave the jib in the car and reefed the main to the first reef. That had me moving along under control, and fast enough to be interesting. A full main might have found me in the water and it’s getting too cold for that shhtuff. I’m not putting everything away just yet, but I’m not holding my breath either that I’ll get another trip in.

3rd time is a charm
Completion dateJune 10, 2013OK - my third go at a completion date! This time it's for real. I want to be fully done and sailing by this date. That'll be 16 months build time................. And I made it with one day to spare! Not that I was trying - it just worked out that way -kinda funny!
